Meal choice includes a "Low Country Boil" or "Jackson Run Golf Club Signature Chicken" dinner. Low Country Boil is a golf coast traditional Cajun treat. Shrimp, Cajun sausage, corn on the cob and red potatoes all boiled up Southern style with Cajun spices. It'll be served via buffet. Included with that will be soft drinks, tossed salad, and dessert. This meal choice is gluten free.
The second meal choice is Jackson Run Golf Club Signature Chicken. You'll get a half chicken with their own blend of herbs and spices, tossed salad, potato and vegetable along with soft drinks and dessert. This meal is not gluten free.
Happy Hour will run from 5:30 to 6:30 pm. The cash bar will be open for your enjoyment.
6:30 to 7:30 Dinner is served.
7:30 and on will be highlights of the River of the Year, election of directors by members. Our guest speaker will be Robin Foster, PhD candidate from SUNY Buffalo who will talk about the elusive and intriguing Eastern Hellbender. The Eastern Hellbender is the largest amphibian in North America but few people have seen them and even fewer know exists.
